Time for the Blogger Hop from Crazy for Books
What a great idea! I love following readers blogs almost more than I like blogging myself. What a great way to get out there and meet new people who share the same interests as you.
This week’s question: What book – to – movie adaptation have you most liked? Which have you disliked?
I love the Harry Potter movies, I think they do a great job at capturing the books. I also really love the Sisterhood of the Travelling pants movies. I know there were seriously condensed and in some areas changed, but I loved the casting and thought the movies were so enjoyable. I’m really good at separating books from their movies so I don’t get disappointed too much. That being said, I couldn’t stand the Percy Jackson movie...horrible.

I thought the Percy Jackson movie was ok (saw it as a bargain show), but admittedly, hadn't read any of the books, so maybe that helped. :)

I don't even WANT to see the Percy Jackson movie- the trailer was enough to put me off.
I love the HP movies, and I felt like A Walk to Remember was Brilliant. I hated I Am Number Four, and I thought that The Last Song sucked, too haha
I've heard someone else say that they didn't like the Percy Jackson movie. I've never seen it.
Jo - probably helped that you didn't read the books. I can't for the life of me pin point what it was that I hated about it so much, but it did leave a negative impression.

Melissa: I still haven't seen I am number 4, did you hate it because the movie was so good? The Last Song DID suck.
