Book Related
Guys Lit Wire – There are a lot of blogs out there that look at books YA girls read, but very few dedicated solely to books traditionally enjoyed by young adult males. This blog provides excellent reviews for books that teenage boys might be interested in. I especially love the accessible genres, which include titles like Road Trips, Survival, Superheroes and First Love.
I’m Here. I’m Queer. What The Hell Do I Read? – An amazing resource for teens and librarians who are interested in YA books with GLBTQ characters and themes. One of the things that I really like about this site is that for each book that is highlighted, there are multiple reviews. People are encouraged to post their own reviews in the comment section of the posts. An awesome, informative and inclusive blog.
Teen Reading Club – a fantastic website for Canadian teens who love to read. Youth can post reviews, share their writing and discuss books they either liked or didn’t like. It’s a great place to learn about new books and get your opinion out. It has a cool layout and is easy to use.
