Book Blogger Hop

Time for the Blogger Hop from Crazy for Books

What a great idea! I love following readers blogs almost more than I like blogging myself. What a great way to get out there and meet new people who share the same interests as you.

This week’s question: "What very popular and hyped book in the blogosphere did you NOT enjoy and how did you feel about posting your review?"

For me it was Forget-her-nots by Amy B White. People LOVE that book, and not just like it, but LOVE it. I couldn’t get into, and it was the first book I posted on my “Trash to Treasure” series. I was really worried I would get hate mail.

Hey Katie.
I'm a new visitor stopping by from the BBH.
I don't think I've heard of Forget-Me-Nots, although it does sound vaguely familiar?
I'm off to check out some of your reviews.
Have a great weekend,
Rachel Star :)

The one really hyped book that I totally disliked was The Lonely Hearts Club. People thought it was sweet and inspiring and endearing, and it made me want to pull my hair out. It was too saccharin sweet with a blah plot for me haha thus is the nature of book reviewing, eh?

Happy Friday! :)

Hey, I like how easy your blog is to read. The colours and everything else are so cohesive. I haven't read Forget me nots but I find that I often cannot get into books that are hyped about. Simply because my tastes are so different.
